Keep the crew away from active hazards. Nails, screws, broken tile, glass, splintered lumber, and sharp metal should be contained or stacked in a way that can be loaded safely. If other trades are working, identify where Junktastic can park and load without blocking deliveries, neighbors, or work vehicles. If a hallway, stairwell, elevator, or finished floor must be used, clear that path before arrival and point out any surfaces that need extra care.
Photos are especially helpful for construction debris. Send a wide view of the pile, a close view of the material, and a view from the pile to the loading area. A driveway pile of trim and packaging is a different job from basement drywall, upstairs flooring, or debris behind a fence. Heavy material, long carries, and spread-out debris can change crew planning and truck space.
